In a personal project above Melbourne, VIC, I captured the surreal beauty of a storm from a Virgin Airlines flight, likening the experience to space travel. The details of the aircraft—its engine and wings—echoed the design of a NASA spacecraft, adding to the cosmic atmosphere. Taken during a dusk flight, the storm clouds stretched out in kaleidoscopic hues, their expansive formations resembling another layer of Earth extending to the horizon. These images evoke a sense of wonder, blurring the line between terrestrial and celestial, and offering a glimpse of the world from a perspective both familiar and extraordinary.
